To continue our exploration in different textures we used corn starch and water to create some "goop". The children talked about the way it felt, the temperature of the substance, that it was melting and some talked about how they could mold it.
This texture exploration enhanced their observations skills, strengthened their fine motor skills and further developed their ideas about cause and effect.
"It feels like pancakes! Let's make some!"
